As a recent graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles, Darren Smith is no stranger to hard work. He and Mickey have worked together on countless efforts, most recently, Keak Da Sneak's "Super Hyphy" video. Smith has also received credits as a producer on the SydeProjekt music video, Jupiter Hill, and Stan Fiedler. Known for his honesty, loyalty, and dependability, Darren builds his relationships on trust and mutual reciprocity. While economic concerns remain important to him, Darren is now focused on the creation of flawless and original material, as well as establishing a network of motivated individuals around him. Born and raised in windy Foster City, CA, Darren is another Bay Area native amongst the Half-White crew. He met Mickey in high school and it was not long until their first film productions began. Helping Mickey produce, edit, and score their earliest films, Darren has shown remarkable abilities in caring for the needs of all of those involved in their films. Relying on his relaxed demeanor, Darren never panics in a difficult situation but rather consistently asks "what can we do?"
